The boys cross country team placed 4th out of 15 teams at the Otterbein Invitational Saturday scoring 110 points. Lancaster won the meet with 72 points. While not racing their normal top two runners, sophomore Jake Ethridge led the Pioneers placing 9th out of 535 runners a personal best time of 16:56. Cole Benishek and Aidan emhuff followed closely behind placing 17th and 18th in 17:11 and 17:16. Jay Shin (31-17:34), Lincoln Weber (35th-17:39), and Alex Kolev (57th-18:08) rounded out the scoring.

The full boys squad will be competing at the highly competitive Saturday Night Lights at Centerville high school this Saturday, where the varsity races are run in the dark under the lights! The races start at 5:15 pm and the boys championship race will be run at 9:45pm.
