Girls soccer started the week on Tuesday at Coffman. Orange got off to a slow start struggling to keep up with the continuous pressure from Coffman. By the end of the first half, Coffman led 2-0. In the second half, Orange held their ground, not letting Coffman increase the lead, but weren’t able to score, ending the game 2-0.

Field Hockey:

The girls started off this week with a tough game. On August 26, the girls traveled to Columbus Academy in a fierce match off. Unfortunately, the girls fell short after Columbus Academy took control of the game after scoring 4 goals.

Looking to make-up the lost, the fockey girls were ready to win on Wednesday, Aug 28. They traveled over to Dublin Coffman ready to play. They started off quick with a goal from senior Hannah Brown in the first half. Coffman soon follows it up, making it 1-1 at halftime. After a short break, Brown starts things off strong in the second half with an early goal. Only a few minutes later, Brown’s goal is answered by a Coffman goal. At the end of regulation, the score was 2-2. In overtime, Brown gets a third goal for a hat trick to give the pioneers a win, 3-2.
