Lauren Cheetham competed in the State Diving Competition and took 3rd Place overall!
Friday, February 23rd
Boys Varsity Bowling finishes 8th place at Division 1 Sectionals Tournament.
The Varsity Boys were in action today at the Central Division 1 Sectionals and placed 8th qualifying for Districts next Saturday at HP Lanes. They boys were in 11th place the after game one and fought their way up to 9th place after game 2 then to 8th place the next games and 6 baker games securing their spot for next Saturday. The team was led by Tommy Ciaciura with games of 165, 178 and 187 for a series of 530. Next was Andrew Kicas with games of 162, 174 and 177 for a series of 513. Brendan Tansky was next with games of 176 and 132. Gabe Jacobs had games of 161 and 142. Jaden Weibell had games of 148 and 141.
Our Boy’s Swim Prelim 200 Freestyle Relay of Ronak Tripathy, Cullen Dickson, Patrick Mahoney, and Mason Reid competed in the State Championship Prelims.
Swimmers and divers competed in the Ohio State Championships this weekend in Canton Ohio. Junior diver Lauren Cheetham missed championship season last year due to a broken wrist and on Thursday afternoon Lauren completed her comeback campaign by finishing 3rd overall. Friday morning, this boys 200 Freestyle relay consisting of seniors Mason Reid, Cullen Dickson, Ronak Tripathy, and Patrick Mahoney swam the final race of their careers. The young men finished 23rd overall swimming the second best time in program history of 1:28.76. On Saturday, junior diver Luke Cheetham made his return to the state meet hoping for a shot at the podium. His efforts were rewarded as Luke dove to an 8th place finish and a spot on the podium. Congrats to the entire swim and dive teams on a great season, be on the look out for the spring weight room schedule.

Girls Varsity Bowling finishes 13th place at Division 1 Sectionals.
The Varsity Girls were in action today at the Central Division 1 Sectionals and placed 13th qualifying for Districts next Saturday at HP Lanes. They girls were in 16th place the final spot after game one and fought their way up the next 2 games and 6 baker games into 13th place securing their spot for next Saturday. the team was led by Raymie Shields with games of 134, 159 and 185 for a series of 478. Next was Emma Storer with games of 246, 120 and 173 for a series of 439. Haley Wemple was next with games of 146, 168 and 125 for a series of 439. Remy Gray had games of 138, 118 and 116 for a series of 372. Mckenzie Peterson had games of 113, 135 and 122 for a series of 370.
Wrestling competed at Sectionals Saturday at Upper Arlington.
The following wrestlers advanced to Districts this weekend at Hilliard Darby.
113- Cole Jackson – took 3rd place
120- Zack Miller – took 4th place
126- Rocco Torio – Sectional Champion
132- Dominic Torio – took 5th place
138- Mike Monago – took 5th place
145- Connor Evans – took 2nd place
195- Alex Lopez – took 3rd place
220- Cardan Mutai – took 5th place
Gymnastics competed in the District meet Saturday at Worthington Kilbourne.
Our girls ended up 10th out of 24 teams with a score of 127.25.
4 year seniors Molly Cooke, Emma Shrivers, and Brenna Clifford were recognized. Molly Cooke was awarded scholar athlete. Molly Cooke, Alissa Green, Emma Shrivers, and Kenzie Blankenship were awarded Academic All Ohio. Taking the sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity award was Emma Wood. These girls had an outstanding season breaking school records and supporting one another.
Sunday, February 25th
Competition Cheer competed at the Buckeye State Championship at Dublin Jerome.
Our Girls posted their highest score of the season and finished 1st place!
