Meet Recap

The Girls Track & field team won their first home meet scoring 106 points to beat Columbus DeSales (36) and Marysville (33).

The girls won 12 out of 17 events. Highlights include Jr. Anna Watson breaking the school record in the Pole Vault with a jump of 12’6.

Junior Angel Frye won the 400m dash in a time of 1:01.67 and freshman Grace Frye won the 800m run in a time of 2:29.39. Senior Ally Cummings won the Shot Put with a heave of 35′ 3.5″ Junior Brynna Johnson won the high jump with a height of 4’10 and junior Tiere Richardson won the long jump with a leap of 15’8.5. Sophomore Zoe Bond won the 1600m run in 5:49.6, senior Hannah Dieker won the 100m hurdles in 16.24, and sophomore Katie Priest won the 300m hurdles in 49.07.

The Pioneers will be back in action this Saturday at the 16-team Stingel Invitational hosted by Pickerington North High School.
