Meet Recap

The Boys Track & Field team took 2nd place in a home meet with Marysville and Columbus DeSales. A very good senior-laden Marysville squad won the meet with 86 points, while the Pioneers scored 52.

The lone event winner was junior Tommy Heiden who took 1st place in the 1600m run in a time of 4:39.95.
There were many other great performances and some to highlight would be junior Zach Skidmore who set new personal records and took 2nd in both the shot put (48’01”) and the discus (130′ 5.5″).
Senior Andre Keels set a personal best in the 300m hurdles with a time of 41.95.
Senior Sean Yu took 2nd in the Pole Vault, with a vault of 12’0. Junior Brandon Lane took 2nd and set a new personal best in the 800m run with a time of 2:04.7.
